Incorporated in 1945, we’re a privately owned company with headquarters and manufacturing in Linden, NJ. We also have representation and warehousing facilities in Asia and Europe.

Since 1955, Rotuba has been producing Cellulose Acetate, a versatile material with a vast array of potential applications. Today, we’re the largest independent producer worldwide of Cellulose Acetate (CA) and a custom scent compounder of Cellulose Acetate Propionate (CAP) and Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB).

Our on-site capabilities and expertise include a tool and die machine shop, a fully integrated Autocad system, and a color lab to develop custom colors and fragrances. We’re so confident in our team and capabilities that we fully guarantee our products to meet industry-required specifications.
